Spinach Rice (palak Chawal)

It’s a healthy meal itself. there are many version to make spinach rice but I am following this easy way, it's so simple,very nutritious,colorful and so quick.
Ingredients:
  • Spinach-1cup (chopped)
  • Green peas-1/2cup
  • Rice-1cup
  • Cumin seed-1/2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste-2tsp
  • Greenchilli-1finely chopped
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil-1tbsp
Preparation:
Heat oil in pan add cumin seed when they splutter add ginger garlic paste, 
green chilli saute for 1minute.add green peas and spinach cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now add washed rice sauté for another 2minutes.
Add salt and 2cups of water. Cook till rice is done.
Serve hot with any curry or raita of your choice.

    It is light on the tummy & always easy to make. And damn tasty!
