Curd rice is very popular south Indian rice recipe.it is very yummy , easy to prepare and complete healthy meal.This is very simple
recipe with unique and delicious taste.
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice -1 cup
- Curd-1cup
- Milk-1/2cup
- Carrot-1(grated)
- For Temper:
- Green Chilli -1or 2 finely chopped
- Coconut-1tbsp (grated)
- Cashew nut-4-5
- Cumin seed-1/2tsp
- Mustard seed-1/2tsp
- Curry leaves-a sprig
- Asafoetida (hing)-1/4tsp
- Salt to taste
- Ghee-1tbsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Preparation:
First mash the rice with curd and milk. Add salt to this.
Mix it properly. Keep aside.
Heat ghee in pan add green Chilli, curry leaves cumin seed,
mustard seed
Let it splutter, add hing,coconut,cashew
nut cook for few seconds.
Add this to curd rice mixture.
Add grated carrot and coriander leaves. Mix it well.
Enjoy your curd rice.
Notes:
You can also add pomegranate and grapes
You can adjust the milk and curd quantity.
