Today post is very special for me because this is my 50
th
post yay!!! I have completed half century.I want to thank you to everyone for all your comments and
encouragements.I decide to celebrate my 50
th post with the famous
street food,chatpati aloo chat. Aloo chat doesn’t Need any introduction. So let’s get start this yummy and
delicious chat.
- Potato (aloo)-2
- khatti Meethi chutne-2tbsp
- Green chutney -2tbsp
- Curd-2tbsp
- Sev(Namkeen bhujia)-1tbsp
- Coriander leaves (chopped)-for
garnishing
- Green Chilli-2(finely
chopped)
- Onion-1/4cup (finely chopped) optional
- Chat masala-1/2tsp
- Red Chilli powder-1/4tsp
- Black salt (sendha Namak)-to taste
- Roasted cumin powder-1/4tsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt- to taste
Method:
Parboil the potatoes in pressure cooker.It should not be over boiled
When they cool peel the skin and cut it into cubes.Beat the curd properly.
Make tamarind chutney and green
chutney and keep aside.
Heat 1tbsp oil in pan shallow fry
the potatoes till golden brown or crispy.
Place them on paper towel.Take fried potatoes in a bowl. Garnish with
Roasted cumin powder,
chaat masala, black
salt, salt Toss well,add curd, tamarind chutney,
green chutney sev and
onion mix everything properly.
Garnish with chopped coriander
leaves and finely chopped green Chilli.
Serve this yummy and delicious street
food with tea.

Note:
if you want to deep fry the potatoes you can.
you can adjust the chutneys and spices according to your taste.
