Muthiya is steamed dumpling common Gujarati dish,which is very healthy and tasty savory snack.It can be made with cabbage, methi, bottle gourd
or any other veggies of your choice.

- palak(spinach) finely chopped-2cups
- Wheat Flour-1cup
- Besan(gram flour)-1/2 cup
- Rava(semolina)-1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
- Coriander leaves-1tbsp
- Ginger(grated)-1tsp

- chilli powder-1/2tsp
- Oil-1tsp
- Salt to Taste
- Oil-1tsp
- Mustard seed-1/2tsp
- Sesame seeds-1tbsp
- Asafetitda(Hing)-pinch
- Coconut-for garnishing
- Coriander leaves-for garnishing
Take besan,semolina,aata and spinach and other ingredients
in mixing bowl and
mix well and make a smooth soft dough with the help of little water.
Grease palm with some oil make rolls from the dough.

Make Rolls as shown
in the picture.
Place the rolls on greased sieve and steam in a steamer for
15 -20 minutes.
if the muthias are done, insert a toothpick in the centre.
If it comes out clean, the muthias are cooked.
Let them cool and cut it into ½ inch thick slices.
Heat oil in pan adds mustard seed when they start crackle
add sesame seed and asafetida.
Add sliced muthiya and mix it well. Turn off the heat and garnish
with
chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut.
Enjoy this healthy snack with green chutney or tomato ketchup
