Coconut Mint Chutney

It is very easy, simple yet delicious chutney goes well with dosa,idli and vada.
Prep time: 5 minutes!
cook time-5 minutes!
serves-4
Recipe type-chutney
Cuisine -South Indian
Ingredients:
Coconut-1cup(fresh or grated)
Mint leaves-1/2cup( washed and chopped)
Fried Chana dal-2tbsp
Green chili-2 (chopped)
Coriander leaves-1/4cup(washed and chopped)
Salt-to taste 
To Tamper:
Oil-1tsp
Hing(asafieda)-pinch
Curry leaves-few
Mustard Seed-1/4tsp
Whole Red chilli-1
Method:
Add all the ingredients coriander,coconut, mint ,green chili, Chana dal
With very little water into grinder,to make smooth paste.
Heat oil in pan add mustard seed and let them splutter, now add
Curry leaves,whole red chili and hing stir for few seconds.
Pour this to the chutney. Mix properly and serve with idli,dosa or vada.

  8. Whenever I see a bowl of coconut chutney, I suddenly feel an urge to have idlis and dunk them in the chutney. Your chutney with mint sounds interesting. I need to try this out next time I make coconut chutney.
