Wash and soak dal for 30 minutes.<br />
Heat oil in a pressure cooker add methi seeds and cumin seeds when they splutter<br />
Add red chili and hing and stir for few seconds now add onion and saute for 3 minutes.<br />
Add ginger garlic paste and saute til raw smell goes away.<br />
Add tomato and saute for 2 minutes. Add turmeric powder and coriander powder.<br />
Mix well add chopped spinach and soaked dal and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.<br />
Add 1 cup water,salt and and close the lid.<br />
Cook for 2 whistle or spinach and dals are tender.<br />
Turn off the heat and let the pressure go down by itself.<br />
Remove the lid and stir well.<br />
Serve hot with rice and chapati.<br />

Put the chicken in a contairner.Add ginger garlic paste,lemon juice and 1 tsp salt and rub properly.<br />
Cover the container and put in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours to marinate.<br />
Heat a pan on medium heat add oil add hing, red chili and sauté for few seconds.<br />
Add methi,cumin,sauf,mustard and kalonji sauté for 30 seconds.<br />
Add onions and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.<br />
Add tomato and cook2 to 3 minutes. Now add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric<br />
Powder and stir well.<br />
Add chicken and stir. Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes or chicken is half done.<br />
Add black salt and cook chicken is almost done.<br />
Add the curd and cook for another 6 to 8 minutes.Add garam masala and stir well<br />
Turn off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.<br />

Add sugar whisk until the cream become more solid and thick.<br />

Cake comes out clean.<br />
Let it cool completely and serve.<br />

Dry roast oats till they turn golden brown.let it cool little bit.<br />
Coarsely powder and keep aside.<br />
Dry roast peanut and grind the peanuts to a coarse powder.<br />
Dry roast sesame seeds until light golden brown.<br />
Mix all the ingredients properly with gud,ghee and cardamom powder.<br />
Make small lemon size ladoo out of it.<br />
Store them in an airtight container.<br />

Soak saffron strands in two tbsp milk for 10 to 15 minutes.<br />
Heat milk in a pan,boil for 4 to 5 minutes.<br />
Add sugar , soaked saffron and turn off the heat.<br />
Grind almond and dates until a creamy consistency.<br />
Add paste into milk and mix well.<br />
Chilled and serve.<br />

Wash rice in water 2 to3 times and drain add 3 cups water and soak for 3 to4 hours.<br />
Wash and soak dal,poha and methi in 2 cups water for 3 to 4 hours.<br />
Drain dal and methi,poha and put in a grinder with 1/2 cup water make a smooth batter.<br />
Transfer to a pan.<br />
Drain the rice and put in the grinder with 3/4 cup of water grind to a slightly coarse mixture.<br />
Transfer to the saucepan with the dal mixture.<br />
Mix the batter with hand and cover the pan with tight lid and set aside in a warm place overnight<br />
To ferment.<br />
Heat 2 cups water in a steamer and lightly oil the idli moulds.<br />
Add the salt into batter and stir pour it into the moulds. Fit the trays onto the stand put in the steamer<br />
Cover and steam for about 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in an idli comes out clean.<br />
Take the idli stand out of the steamer and keep aside for to cool a bit.<br />
Spoon the idlis out and serve with samber and <a class="GFPUSQ2PB" href="http://welcometomyrasoi.blogspot.com/2014/03/coconut-chutney.html">Coconut chutney</a>.<br />

Add cabbage,oats,turmeric powder,coriander powder,chili powder,ginger paste<br />
Coriander leaves,curd and hing in a bowl.mix well and knead to make a sticky dough.<br />
Do not add water.<br />
Grease your palms with a little oil.Divide the dough into equal portion and shape into cylinder.<br />
Put the rolls on a steaming tray and place in the steamer.Steam for 12 to 15 minutes.<br />
Or until a toothpick or knife inserted into one of the pieces comes out clean.<br />
Remove from and let cool completely.<br />
Cut into 1 inch pieces.<br />
Heat oil in a pan add sesame seeds when the seeds sputter add the dumpling<br />
Pieces and toss well and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.<br />
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.<br />
Serve hot.<br />

The liquid is light brown.there will be some milk solids that rise to the top as foam<br />
And these should be skimmed off.<br />
Keep aside to cool slightly. Strain into a clean jar and let cool completely.<br />
Cover with an airtight lid and store in room temperature for up to 1 months.<br />

Turn off the and transfer the roasted flour in a mixing bowl and let cool a bit.<br />
Add sugar and and 2 cups of water, mix well with no lumps.<br />
Pour this mixture on same put on medium heat and cook.<br />
Stirring continuously and until the mixture the thickens or leave the sides.<br />
Add cardamom powder and mix it well.<br />
Turn off the heat and grease a steal plate with ghee.<br />
Pour the mixture and spread evenly.Garnish with chopped almonds.<br />
when cool completely,cut into squares and serve.<br />
Enjoy:<br />
This sweet does not have a long shelf life,should be consumed within a day.<br />

Heat ghee in a pan add Cumin seeds,ginger and green chili,let it splutter.<br />
Add tomato and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until tomatoes are soft.<br />
Add turmeric powder,salt and mashed potato and cook for 1 minute.<br />
Add 2 cups of water,cover and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes.<br />
Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.<br />

Make the pakodas:<br />
Place all the ingredients expect oil in a mixing bowl and stir.<br />
Add 1/4 cup water and mix everything properly.<br />
Heat enough oil in a kadahi on high flame.drop small size balls into hot oil<br />
And deep fry until golden brown.Drain the pakodas on paper towels.<br />
Make the kadhi:<br />
Put besan,curd and whisk until smooth without any lumps.<br />
Add turmeric powder,salt and 3 cups water, mix and keep aside.<br />
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat,add methi seeds,red chilies,curry leaves,hing and ginger.<br />
Saute for few seconds.pour the curd and besan mixture into the pan.<br />
Keep stirring and bring to boil,then lower the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.<br />
Add chili powder and the pakodas and simmer for 4 to 6 minutes.<br />
Turn off the heat and garnish with Coriander leaves.<br />
Serve hot with rice.<br />

Put the besan,curd,turmeric powder,green chili paste,ginger paste,hing,oil and salt<br />
Mix well until smooth.<br />
Add water and make a smooth batter with no lumps.<br />
Pour mixture into heavy bottomed pan, place it on medium heat and cook for 5 to 7<br />
Minutes,stirring continuously, after 8 minutes or until the mixture is thick<br />
To check if the batter is cooked,take teaspoonful of it and spread it thinly on surface.<br />
Let it cool for a minute.Then lift it up the surface by rolling it up.<br />
If the batter comes off the surface it means that it is cooked enough.<br />
Remove from the heat and working quickly,spread the batter with flat sputlla<br />
Over surface as thinly as possible,while the batter is still hot.Let cool completely.<br />
Cut into 2 inches wide and roll them up tightly. Pick up each roll gently and place in<br />
A serving dish.<br />
Place a small pan on medium heat and add oil.when oil is hot add mustard seed.<br />
Pour this tempering over the khandvi.<br />
Sprinkle with the coconut and coriander leaves.<br />
Serve immediately.<br />

Mix two tbsp milk and custard powder without any lumps.keep aside.<br />
Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan, add custard mixture.<br />
Keep stirring till turns semi thick batter,add sugar and mix well.<br />
Turn off the heat.let it cool little bit.<br />
Whisk whip cream and add milk and custard mixture,mix well.<br />
Pour it in a container and close the lid of the container and freeze it for 5 to 6 hours.<br />
After 6 hours blend it again to break ice particles and freeze it again for 2 to 3 hours.<br />

Note:<br />
Before serving keep in refrigerator for 20 to 25 minutes.<br />

Wash and soak dal for 30 minutes with 3 cups of water.<br />
For Dhokli add atta,besan,turmeric powder,oil,ajwain and salt.<br />
Add enough water and knead to make a stiff dough.<br />
Cover and keep aside for 20 minutes.<br />
Add shocked dal in pressure cooker and cook for 3 to 4 whistle.<br />
Let the pressure go on by itself.<br />
Meanwhile make dhokli,divide the dough into 4 portion roll into balls.<br />
Using a rolling pin.roll out each ball into a thin chapati.<br />
Using a sharp knife,cut 1 inch diamond shaped pieces.keep aside.<br />
Heat ghee in a pan add cumin seeds,Cinnamon sticks,cloves,red chili and curry leaves<br />
saute for few seconds, add tomato,ginger and cook till tomato gets mushy.<br />
Add turmeric powder,red chili powder,cooked dal and 2 cups of water.<br />
Bring to boil,add gud and tamarind paste and stir.<br />
Then add dhokli pieces and cook. stirring the dal occasionally.<br />
When the dhoklis are cooked and and dal has slightly thickened.<br />
Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander.<br />
Serve warm.<br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Method:</span><br />
Heat a pan on medium flame add coconut and dry roast until light golden brown.<br />
Keep aside to cool.In same pan dry roast all spices cloves,coriander ,red chili,cumin, cinnamon,peppercorn on low heat.Place onion, ginger,garlic,coconut and roasted spices<br />
in a grinder and grind into a fine Paste.<br />
Put the cleaned chicken pieces in a bowl and prick the pieces with a fork.<br />
Add ground paste,salt and mix well,cover and keep in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.<br />
Heat oil in a pan add marinated chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes add turmeric powder<br />
And adjust the salt and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or chicken is done.<br />
Add capsicum pieces and mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.<br />
Garnish with Coriander leaves.<br />
Serve hot with chapati.<br />

In a mixing bowl add atta,turmeric powder and salt,mix well.<br />
Add enough water and knead to make a smooth dough.<br />
Divide the dough into smooth balls,Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.<br />
In another bowl add mashed potatoes,onion,coriander leaves,chat masala<br />
Red chili powder ans salt, mix well.<br />
Divide the potato mixture into equal portion and shape into balls.<br />
Take dough ball and roll it with a rolling pin into 3 inch rounds.<br />
Place a potato ball in the center,bring the edges to enclose it and pinch extra part on top.<br />
Flatten the balls and sprinkle with a little flour and roll them with rolling pin into 6 inch<br />
Rounds.<br />
Heat a tawa( griddle) on medium heat.then place a paratha on it and cook for 2 to3 minutes.<br />
Turn the paratha,drizzle some oil on it and spread it all over paratha.<br />
Turn again and drizzle some oil other side and cook until golden brown from both side.<br />
Serve hot with curd.<br />

Place a heavy bottomed pan on medium heat,add milk and bring it to a boil.<br />
Lower the heat and cook, stirring frequently.<br />
Take 2 tbsp boiled milk and put the saffron strands.keep them aside.<br />
Keep stirring and reduce it till it becomes thick.<br />
Add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved.Add saffron milk and Simmer for another 6 to 8 minutes.<br />
Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts. Turn off the heat and serve warm or chilled.<br />

Note:<br />
You can adjust the sugar quantity as per your taste.<br />
Do not forget to stir frequently,otherwise it will burn from bottom.<br />
Make sure basundi is not too thick because when its get cold it will become thicker. <br />

Bay leaf ,cloves,cardamom and saute for few seconds.<br />
Add onions and saute until golden brown,add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell<br />
Goes away.<br />
Add the tomatoes and cook until the oil comes to the top.<br />
Add turmeric powder,red chili powder,coriander powder and stir well.<br />
Add the chicken,salt and mix well and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, until the chicken<br />
Pieces are well coated with sauce.<br />
Add 1 and 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil.cover and cook for 10 minutes.<br />
Or until chicken is cooked. Stirring occasionally.<br />
Turn off the heat and garnish with some ginger Julianne and slit green chili. <br />

Dry roast oats on medium till nice aroma comes.<br />
Powder the oats coarsely in the mixer,do not make fine powder.<br />
Dry roast suji for 3 to 4 minutes till it changes little brown color.<br />
Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves,mustard seed and hing saute for few seconds.<br />
Add grated carrots,peas and corn,salt,turmeric powder fry for 2 to 3 minutes.<br />
In a mixing bowl add coursed oats,suji,curd mix well.<br />
Add vegetables,baking soda and add little water so batter does not become watery.<br />
Before pouring into idli moulds add eno salt and mix thoroughly.<br />
Grease idli moulds with oil and fill them with the batter.<br />
Fill water into idli cooker (almost 1 and 1/2 cups) and when water starts boiling.<br />
Place the idli stand,cover with lid and steam for 12to14 minutes.<br />
Allow to cool for 5 minutes and scoop out and serve with <a class="GFPUSQ2PB" href="http://welcometomyrasoi.blogspot.com/2014/03/coconut-chutney.html">Coconut chutney</a>.<br />

<li>Coconut-1 cup(grated)</li>
<li>Chana Dal(roasted)-1/4 cup</li>
<li>Green chili-2 (to taste)</li>
<li>Ginger(grated)-1/4 tsp</li>
<li>Salt to taste</li>
<li>Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp</li>
<li>Curry leaves- few</li>
<li>Oil-1 tsp</li>

In a blender add coconut,Chana dal,green chili,ginger,salt and little water and grind<br />
to make fine paste.<br />
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,curry leaves,when mustard seeds splutter<br />
Pour this on the chutney and mix well.Serve with idli,dosa,or vada.<br />
